It applies to most things. We need more nuance in our world. Not only do we inherently crave certainty, but with the deification of science, we've extrapolated absolute truths to every aspect of our lives. And the human experience, and certainly writing, is much more complex than that.

I am often anxious too. It's something relatable for me. But I've just realized that the only way out of it is through it. Anxiety, for me, has been a transient feeling like all emotions. And I've generally seen that people end up supporting you more than you would estimate. So, I just decide to take it head on even when I'm super nervous.
